NAIROBI LADY DELIVERS 5 BABIES AT KENYATTA NATIONAL HOSIPITAL,APPLEALS FOR HELP TO RAISE HALF A MILLION

Dorothy Muli a 33 year old Nairobi resident has given birth to five babies at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH). Tragically , one of her babies has died , leaving her with four babies surviving babies who are under care of doctor in the nursery.

Kenyatta National Hospital(KNH) waived all her hospital bill , but she also needs half a million for the formula, treatment,diapers, money to buy food as women in postnatal period need balanced diet. Iron and Folic acid supplements ,baby clothes and other estential items needed by the mother.

Dorothy Muli was admitted to Kenyatta National Hospital on 12th of June , 2024 due to high blood pressure and she welcomed her five babies through cesarean section on June 24th , 2024.

In an interview , Dorothy Muli, the mother, shared that she knew she was carrying multiples as at at 11 weeks of her pregnancy. On bad luck one of her babies did not survive , leaving her with four babies who are being taken care in the nursery at Kenyatta National Hospital.

The mother shared that she had no complication every thing went on well during her pregnancy journey.

“I had a smooth pregnancy , and we thank God for that,” she said, unaware of the challenges she was awaiting. The hospital has waived the medical bill , making things easy for her and also easing some of the financial burdens on the new mother.

However ,Dorothy is now seeking for well wisher to support her with the finances, material support, and psychological support on her new journey raising her four surviving newborns. The estimated cost will help in for formula, diapers,treatment and other essential items for babies and the mother for the next six months.
